Part of how we get free is by attending to the ways that systems of domination operate within us and within our organizations. When we don’t, we risk replicating the very things we are working to transform! This can be demoralizing, dangerous, and even deadly.

As we commit to addressing the harm created by systemic oppression – including the ways we and our communities are both harmed by and benefit from dominance, privilege, and oppression – we move into deeper alignment with our core values and the world we are struggling to build.

This workshop will support those who wish to bring both rigor and love to applying the Solidarity Economy Principles and Practices to their work, whether that’s on a local, national, or global level. Whether you’re in a cooperative, a nonprofit, a community garden, or some other kind of organization, the community-sourced wisdom will support your journey.
Este taller apoyará a aquelles que busquen traer amor a la aplicación los Principios y prácticas de la Economía Solidaria a su trabajoya sea a nivel local, nacional o global los Principios y prácticas de economía solidaria en su trabajo. Ya sea que esté en una cooperativa, una organización sin fines de lucro, un jardín comunitario o algún otro tipo de organización, la sabiduría de la comunidad va a apoyar su trayectoria.

People who have some understanding of solidarity economy movements, have attended our Introduction to Solidarity Economy Movements workshop, and are organizing within groups who have a commitment to anti-oppression/collective liberation. It is a non-judgemental space, so you are welcome regardless where your group is on its journey.

Personas que tengan un leve entendimiento de movimientos de economía solidaria, que hayan asistido a nuestro taller de Introducción a movimientos de Economía solidaria y que participen en grupos que tengan un compromiso anti-opresión / liberación colectiva. Este es un espacio sin prejuicios. Por esto, eres bienvenide sin importar en qué etapa de su trayecto el grupo se encuentre.
Accessibility:
Access requests, including interpretation and captioners, can be made during registration or by emailing Dustin at dustin@peopleshub.org. Requests for interpreters and captioners that are made less than 48 hours before the event typically are more difficult to meet. We will try and notify you if we cannot secure requested access.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Cost:
Choose what to pay, starting at $40. The true cost of this workshop is $100/person. At PeoplesHub we are committed to communication access, radical hospitality, supporting facilitators, and making our offerings financially accessible. This sliding scale allows us to continue offering programs like this one and pay trainers, interpreters, captioners, and other support staff a fair wage for their time and expertise. Like you, those who support our trainings work hard for change in their communities and have often developed the knowledge, skill and gifts that they are offering through many unpaid hours — let’s support them to be sustainable in their work and craft!
