JD Davids is a longtime strategist, storyteller and organizer currently working with national networks of disabled and chronically ill people, including people living with HIV, Long COVID and ME/CFS. He writes and hosts conversations for the Cranky Queer Guide to Chronic Illness: Strategies for Health and Wellness for Sick Times, and is a member of the What Would an HIV Doula Do collective. He’s served on the leadership team of the Radical Communicators Network, as faculty on the Sexual Liberation track of the national Creating Change LGBTQ conference, and as an advisor to NIH and CDC. He was the founding executive director of CHAMP, a national mobilization force on HIV prevention justice. Prior to that, as co-founder of Health GAP, he co-organized pivotal efforts for global HIV treatment access.
