PeoplesHub Workshop – Connect online as an individual

When the World is on Fire: Resilience and Restoration

The world is on fire. From the uprisings in Japan, Puerto Rico, Hawai’i to the burning of the earth’s precious Amazon rain forest–our spirits, bodies and communities are being strategically attacked by a Far Right agenda and ideology. Capitalism, colonialism and other systems of oppression must end. More than ever people and change makers are ready to step into the imagination and try new things, to imagine a different way of building community, making change, living and loving.

Now is the time for change. Now is the time to hold our people close. Now is the time to celebrate our wins and love each other in the losses. Now is the time to grieve, now is the time to believe in us and in our deepest yearnings. We must restore and strengthen our resiliency if we are going to continue to show up.

In this two part workshop, Elandria and Jardana will hold connective space to grieve the challenges and traumas of our world, to revitalize, and to connect change agents across the US and world through resilience-based practices, lessons and visioning for the world we want and need, inside and out.
