PeoplesHub Workshop Series – Connect online as an individual

Transforming Ourselves, Transforming Our World

Join us for a four part series around exploring a variety of strategies and tools for greater transformation. Together we explore how slowing down, and trusting our body wisdom helps inform liberation at the personal, interpersonal and systemic level.

Workshop 1: Slowing Down to Be Present

It’s easy to build up anxiety, stress and internal pressure in the intensity of these times. Our mental, physical, emotional and relational well-being is being taxed. This workshop is an opportunity to explore a variety of tools that will aid us in slowing down, and trusting our body wisdom.  Join us as we engage with simple tools to help  increase our self-awareness and shift anxiety into presence and creativity.

Workshop 2: Who Am I Called To Be Now?

Crisis puts things into perspective and causes us to ask the bigger questions. Why am I alive? What am I here to contribute to this time?  COVID-19 has forced so many of us to get off the hamster wheels of our lives and caused us to interrupt business as usual. For many of us, what we were doing before COVID is no longer possible, and/or no longer where what we want to do. In this workshop we will explore your unique gifts and skills and how they match up with this moment on the clock of the world. (Grace Lee Boggs asked: “What time is it on the clock of the world?”)

Workshop 3: Co-creating Webs of Support

The global pandemic has made it abundantly clear we are interdependent. And yet, many of us are in isolation and quarantine, know more than ever we desire and need to build and/or strengthen webs of support.  YES! Is a global organization that focuses on the interconnectivity of relationships on the personal, interpersonal and systemic level. In this workshop, we will offer space to explore our lessons and foundations for how to nourish  our relationships and attend to the flow of reciprocity.  We’ll uncover our feelings around generosity, as well as around asking for and receiving support, and notice where there is balance and where there are gaps.

Workshop 4: From Breakdowns to Breakthroughs: Facing and Changing Conflicts in Our Lives

“Conflict is the spirit of the relationship asking itself to deepen.” ~ Malidoma. Conflict is often prevalent in our lives and the world and is the cause of a lot of stress and pain, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. But what if we can shift our attitude towards conflict to see it as neutral and perhaps even as a transformational opportunity?  Dive in with YES! Jam facilitators as we consciously shift towards more generative responses to conflict.
