Spirit, Care + Social Justice Strategy Clinic

 

The Spirit, Care + Social Justice Strategy Clinic is a peer supported space. This strategy clinic is a  place where changemakers will receive support and pathways forward to sustain ourselves and our communities through 2020 and beyond. During this clinic people will bring their challenges around integrating practices of well-being into their personal life and community organizing. 

 

We encourage you to join us before for “Resilience and Restoration in 2020,” a workshop led by Joe Tolbert Jr. before the clinic on February 5th or 12th to seed intention and vision into 2020, and to connect  with change agents across the US and world through resilience-based practices.

This training is ideal for:

 

  • People interested in integrating personal and communal strategies of wellbeing.
  • People who have participated in our healing justice and movement chaplaincy training.

Training Outcomes

 

Participants will leave with:

  • Practical strategies to integrate into their personal and communal well-being plans.
  • Connection with others desiring more care and spirit-based practice in their lives and work.

What do you do to prepare?

 

Please choose a location with a strong internet connection, where you are able to share and listen comfortably. You’ll need a laptop or desktop computer, with video and headphones.

Joe Tolbert Jr.

Joe T. is a minister, scholar, writer and cultural organizer whose work is at the intersections of art, culture, spirituality and social justice. He received his B.S. in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and completed his M.Div. with a concentration in Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary in the city of New York.
