Our trainer will help your group develop tools to navigate conflict, and foster understanding and inclusion.
This training is ideal for:
Groups of 6-25 people who are working together locally — both new and established groups.
You can take this as a stand-alone course, or as part of six core trainings.
You’ll come away with:
- An understanding of various ways people handle conflict and what that means in the group.
- Communication tools for working through conflict.
- Ways to identify the needs of your group in the midst of conflict.
- How to gauge when conflict is helpful and how to avoid the destructive kind.
- A deeper understanding of different cultural ways of dealing with conflict.
PeoplesHub is committed to making trainings accessible, regardless of ability to pay. We are also dedicated to fair compensation for our trainers, who, like you, have worked hard for change in their communities. We use a sliding scale of $200 – $750 per training to ensure our trainings are accessible to groups with a wide range of resources, and to allow folks to “pay it forward” so that other groups may experience high-quality training at a lower cost.
Payments beyond the true value of the training are considered tax deductible donations.
If cost is a significant barrier for your group, please contact us and we can talk about how to make your training happen.
What do you do to prepare?
Please choose one or two people to work with the trainer on setting a time, establishing an internet link, and managing the space where you’ll meet.
You’ll just need a place to gather; a laptop or desktop computer; and a sense of humor. Maybe some tomato soup.
Note: if you don’t have a computer, talk to us about other devices that may work.
